My darkest moments come to me has unanticipated waves. The water heavy and grey swallowing my lifeblood. At times, a déjà-vu, a memory, a smell but sometimes it will be seeing someone, something random.
My lightest moments come to me has unanticipated waves. The water glassy and turquoise lifting my insides. At times, doing what I love, a taste of something scrumptious, but sometimes it will be seeing a divine sunrise, receiving a longer than expected hug.
Right beneath my skin, there is both light and dark. I give permission for both to co-exist. Sit. Wait. Pause. Move. Breathe. Through the waves. One grey. One turquoise. Day in. Day out. On repeat. I wash away the sadness. I wash away the lightness. Right then and there, the blissful blessedness arises.
