Are angels are near?

Do you believe in magic? ✨

It was a dreamy and stupidly hot Nova Scotia summer day and I was off to my first ever meeting with the CBC for the #TommyTinkerForever Documentary. I was in a rush dropping Isaiah off. Has I stepped in the car, I saw a grey feather on my path. I picked it up and looked at it for a long time. It lingered in my hand to then find its way the dashboard of the car. I was late yet picked up my phone and Googled “meaning of feather in your path”. The first thing I saw in bold letters: WHEN FEATHERS APPEARED, ANGELS ARE NEAR. Shivers cut through the humidity and I couldn’t help but laugh/cry alone in my car.

I don’t want to believe this stuff, and then sometimes it’s too much. I could choose to step on the feather and not think twice, not pick it up- be asleep for the little wonders . Or I can choose to look, listen, pick it up and do a little research.

On my way to the CBC that morning, I knew the project was way WAY way bigger than me.
Have you had moments like this in your life? Moments of synchronies and signs you can’t un-see. Tell me your synchronicity stories!!!

Love you in waking up to the magic all around, always.

In a way, @sickboypodcast and I are on the same mission: TO TALK ABOUT THE STUFF NOBODY WANTS TO TALK ABOUT. And it’s freakin’ freaky that it dropped this week of ALL week when Halifax is mourning 7 little bears.

In symbology, do you know what the bear message to us is? to go INSIDE and feel your own inner strength. I also cannot help but think of the first constellation my dad ever showed me: “Regarde Estelle, le Grand Ours!”. Seven bright stars that even a child can depict in the Sky. The Big Dipper, you know the one. Ursus Major, The Great Bear. Who unbeknownst to many of us have a links for the seven great rays of LIGHT to the Divine. {Animal Speak, Ted Andrews p.250}. This visual imagery doesn’t make the situation less devastating or sad. But late last night as i took a quick look at the Milky Way it brought me closer in- a doorway into the cloud of pain have been walking in since hearing the unbelievable news.

I went to my books this morning, Bears remind us that we are linked to the stars and one another. It also remind us of the easy path of hiding during dark times -you know, how we could hibernate all-year long. Sure we need solitude and rest before we face action again but know this: grief is a solitary path we cannot, should not and will not face alone.

I invite you to look up tonight at The Great Bear- see how they lights up the whole sky- reminding us that grief is wide and alive and that life is capable of reaching high up to the stars.
Let them guide you!
The bears. The stars.
